The 75-year-old monarch revealed he was battling cancer in early February and is continuing his treatment as he restarts his public-facing engagements. The first fresh entry in his diary was a visit to a cancer treatment center in London, where he was expected to meet patients and staff. The King, who has been patron of Macmillan Cancer Support for nearly three decades, was accompanied by his wife, the Queen. The King and Queen meet staff as they arrive at the cancer treatment center. However, it has been confirmed that he will welcome Japan’s Emperor and Empress for a state visit later that month.

The union says it is trying to appeal a decision not to change the performance evaluation of one of the workers. Boeing says the investigation was part of a confidential process and that the report could only be shared with the FAA. The complaint filed on behalf of the two engineers involves a different issue— the onboard computer networks on the planes. The union says Boeing managers “strongly objected” to rerunning calculations regarding the systems based on new assumptions, citing cost and production delays, but that Boeing ultimately agreed. But the sport has boomed in India, the world's most populous country, as well as some other former British colonies. And now, the U.S. men's national cricket team will represent the home country in this year's International Cricket Council Men's T20 World Cup. While traditional cricket matches can last as long as five days, a T20 match typically lasts around three hours. Beyoncé approves of cowboycore

Completing her look were a pair of aviator-style shades, an embellished head scarf and a stone-colored cowboy hat. In fact, Beyoncé hasn’t been without a cowboy hat in nearly two weeks. On TikTok #cowboycore has 11.4 million views and counting, where users video themselves styling a wide-brimmed rancher cap or, as in one video, pairing vintage leather chaps with a belted trench coat. Cowboy boots, for one, were plucked from their country context and thrust onto the urban streets of metropolitan cities years ago. The embroidered leather boots have been a mainstay of the style set ever since, transcending over the years from a subversive statement piece to something more timeless.

"David Cameron was a disastrous PM. Britain's former Prime Minister and newly appointed Foreign Secretary David Cameron walks outside 10 Downing Street in London, Britain November 13, 2023. "David Cameron was at the heart of the biggest lobbying scandal of recent times," said the Liberal Democrat party's foreign affairs spokesperson Layla Moran. It was the latest reset for a prime minister whose party is badly lagging the Labour Party before an election expected next year. The return of Cameron suggested Sunak wanted to bring in a more centrist, experienced hand rather than appease the right of his party which supported Braverman. It also reawakens divisive debate over Brexit: Cameron held the referendum on European Union membership in 2016 and was hated by many on the right of the party after he campaigned to remain. I know exactly where I can find a perfect dress that fits me well and makes me feel great. In “Butts: A Backstory,” the journalist Heather Radke explored the garment industry’s history of trying and failing to standardize sizing for women’s bodies. “Bodies are bespoke, and most clothes made since the 1920s are mass-produced industrial products,” Ms. Radke wrote. While men’s sizing utilizes inches in a straightforward manner, with measurements like inseam and chest, women’s sizes have no consistency from one brand to another. Professor Abigail Glaum-Lathbury of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago put it to Ms. Radke very simply: “Unless your clothes are made for you, they don’t actually fit.”

Mark Zuckerberg recently posted a family photo with two of his kids' faces covered with emojis. Tech experts say more parents need to follow in his footsteps to protect their childrens' privacy. Posting your kids on social media may even put them at risk for identity theft, one expert told CNN. Presumably a step to protect their privacy, Zuckerberg isn't the only one thinking about how parents' use of social media can impact their children. She says keeping kids' faces off social media is not only essential for their safety, but also for their sense of agency as they grow older.

From zuck/InstagramFor years, celebrities from Kristen Bell and Gigi Hadid to Chris Pratt and Orlando Bloom have been blurring images or using emojis to help protect their kids’ privacy on social media. Zuckerberg, too, had previously posted pictures of the back of his daughters’ heads and their side profiles rather than showing their entire faces. Some parents choose to either restrict how much they share about their kids or limit sharing to less public platforms. Plunkett believes social media companies can do more, such as offering a setting that automatically blurs kids’ faces or prevents any picture with a child from being used for marketing or advertising purposes. For now, however, the onus remains on parents to limit or abstain sharing photos of their kids online.

Shares in ASOS have halved over the last year, with some analysts fearing it may need to raise further equity. ASOS ended the half with cash and undrawn facilities of 408.6 million pounds. Assuming no improvement to the external trading environment, it forecast a "low double-digit" decline in second half sales but with core earnings of 40-60 million pounds, reflecting its focus on profitable sales.
